Bothersome

Not many things bother me. But then again, some things definitely do.
Number one on my list is disrespect.
I don’t care who you are or how you could be so perfect to not show respect to another human being. I’ll admit I’ve had my share of disrespectful moments, but I’m human too, and I always keep my negative thoughts about someone to my self.
The time when disrespect bothers me the most is when it’s thrown at elders by ignorant and stupid, and I MEAN stupid, stupid kids. Did I mention the word stupid? I cannot stand to see a teenager act inappropriately towards a teacher because they’re so immature and don’t have a well enough developed brain to filter their thoughts and words and actions. Teachers, parents and pretty much all decently good adults deserve respect. They’ve been through the things we are going through now, they UNDERSTAND. Or better yet, they’re trying to teach you something! Isn’t that just amazing? They have the good in their heart to try to teach you how to be a better person and to stop blaming your problems on other people.
I guess my point is that respect should be given to anyone, and that every problem in a persons life is created by that person. This is my first step in realizing the truth in that.
I know things like this have been said a million times. I know that it’s hard to practice what you preach.
But I’m going to start trying.
And a start is something.
